I ran a McAfee scan and it said it removed something called JTI/Suspect!131076. Upon further investigation it says that this can change some thing called a registry and install other malicious software onto my laptop. I have read a few things and installed something called paretologic pc health advisor and this said i had over 300 registry problems. I want to know can this virus affect my computer anymore and do i need to repair these things. Furthermore, i am currently running a malwarebytes scan. I am not very skilled with computers so i do not know what to do.
Edit: I have ran the malwarebytes scan and it removed some of the stuff from the paretologic pc health advisor thing. All i want to know now is that is the virus gone now or do i have to do more things?
ParetoLogic PC Health Advisor V3
Should you experience an actual problem, try to recall the last thing you did, or the last thing you installed before the problem appeared for the first time. Use the 6resmon command to identify the processes that are causing your problem. Even for serious problems, rather than reinstalling Windows, you are better off repairing of your installation or, for Windows 8 and later versions, executing the 7DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth command. This allows you to repair the operating system without losing data.
pcha.exe is the ParetoLogic PC Health Advisor. They have their own website: -pc-health-advisor.software.informer.com. Maybe it is safer to download from them directly, rather than via Tucows. Again, I'm not sure if you'll get an adware free installer from pcha's own website. I also don't know if the program will solve your problem. 2ff7e9595c
